Meet the Eastport Executive Team

Robert M. Bowen, Principal and President Bob joined Eastport Real Estate in 2007 as President of the company. Prior to joining Eastport, Bob was vice president of Carruth Capital, LLC where he was responsible for the leasing, property management and financial performance of a 3 million square foot portfolio of commercial real estate. Before joining Carruth, Bob was an Asset Manager at CB Commercial / Whittier Partners where he managed porfolios of various asset classes for small partnerships and institutional clients. Within Eastport Bob is responsible for the strategic direction and overall management of the firm. Bob is a graduate of Salem State College and lives in Reading.

Mark J. Connaughton, Principal and Vice President Mark was formerly president of Connaughton Property Management, a luxury residential property management company he founded. Prior to that, he was a project manager for Connaughton Development, which specialized in Back Bay residential redevelopment. He was also an executive in the computer industry, serving as a manager in Computervision's software manufacturing department.
An economics major at Westfield State College, Mark also studied business management at Northeastern University and Harvard University's Graduate School of Design Real Estate Program. Mark lives in Burlington. Within Eastport, he is responsible for the property management operations, manages several properties and oversees the activities of Eastport's building engineers. |

Richard J. Connaughton, Principal Richard is a principal of Eastport Real Estate Services and has been actively involved in real estate for over 30 years. Richard has been involved in investments in the technology and communications sector and serves on the board of several high technology companies. He is a former developer in Boston's Back Bay. Richard received a B.A. in mathematics from Springfield College and attended the University of Chicago Graduate School of Business. Richard plays an advisory role in Eastport's activities and is involved in the feasibility and financing related to Eastport's acquisitions. |

Michael L. Price, Principal Prior to establishing Eastport Real Estate Services, Michael was vice president and director of property management for National Development of New England, one of the area's largest development and property management firms. During his ten years there, he managed a portfolio of three million square feet of retail, industrial and office space, as well as 500 residential units. In addition, he was involved in the development of over 600,000 square feet of office and industrial projects. Previously, he was a property manager with the Codman Company, where he was responsible for over 700,000 square feet of office and residential space.
A Certified Property Manager (CPM) with the Institute of Real Estate Management since 1984 and a Licensed Real Estate Broker, Michael earned a B.A. in Economics from Middlebury College. Michael lives in Wayland where he is active in the Town's sports programs coaching baseball and soccer and a class agent for the Roxbury Latin School class of 1977. As principal of Eastport Michael is responsible for guiding the overall operation of the company. He is also a principal of Legacy Real Estate Ventures.

Rashmi Sodhani, Financial Manager Rashmi graduated from Bentley College in 1999 with a bachelor's degree in Finance. She currently oversees all of the company's accounting and finance operations.
